Smart Technology Guideline

There are many different types of TVs on the market these days, but one type that is becoming increasingly popular is the smart TV. But what exactly is a smart TV?

In short, a smart TV is a television that is connected to the internet and offers a range of additional features beyond those of a traditional television. These features might include the ability to stream online content, access apps and use a range of other internet-based services.

One of the main advantages of a smart TV is that it offers a more convenient and integrated way to access a range of different content and services. Rather than having to switch between different devices – such as a separate streaming box, games console.

Screen Technology  Guideline

  1. How to pick the right screen?

There are a few important factors to consider when choosing the right TV screen for you. First, think about the size of the room you'll be using the TV in. You'll want to make sure that the TV is not too big or too small for the space. Second, consider your budget. There are a variety of TVs on the market, so you'll want to find one that fits your needs and budget. Third, think about the resolution you need. HDTVs have a variety of resolutions, so you'll want to make sure you're getting the right one for your needs. Lastly, take into account any special features you might want, such as a HDR screen or smart TV capabilities.

What are you using your TV for?

It's important to think about how you'll be using your TV before making a purchase. If you're mostly going to be watching regular TV, then you'll want to make sure you get a TV with good picture quality. However, if you're planning on using your TV for gaming or watching movies, you'll want to look for a TV with a higher refresh rate and lower input lag.

    Pick your screen technology

There are a few different types of screen technology available on TVs these days. Find out more below about some of the screen technology available in our range of Tvs on sale.

What is OLED?

The new Organic Light Emitting Diodes (OLED) screens add a level of immersion to their viewing experience that was previously attainable only through virtual reality. The technology behind these TVs allows them produce richer colors and darker blacks, resulting in more true-to life visuals than ever before seen on television sets today!

OLED pixels are the best in class when it comes to black levels and color reproduction. Each individual light-emitting device can turn off completely, Displaying true darkness while reducing power consumption; This makes them perfect for HDR content because their high standards make every frame crystal clear with no distractions or ghosts around objects that should be visible but aren't! Our collection also includes 4K Ultra HD resolutions which provide ultimate clarity so you'll never miss anything important in your favourite series or movies.

What is QLED?

QLED TVs are the latest and greatest in television technology. QLED stands for "quantum dot" and refers to the new type of display used in these TVs. This display is able to produce more vivid colors and brighter images than any other type of TV on the market.

QLED TVs also offer a number of other advantages, including improved image quality, better energy efficiency, and a wider color gamut.

If you're looking for the best possible picture quality, a QLED TV is the way to go. These TVs are available in a range of sizes and price points, so you can find one that fits your needs.

What is 4K?

4K TV, also known as Ultra HD TV, is a new type of television that offers 4 times the resolution of Full HDTV. This means that 4K TV has a resolution of 2160p, which is a huge jump up from that of 1080p Full HDTV.

4K TV offers a number of benefits over traditional HDTV. The most obvious benefit is the increased resolution. This increase in resolution results in a sharper image that is more realistic and lifelike. In addition to the increased resolution, 4K TV also offers higher frame rates, which means that the image on the screen is smoother and more fluid. 4K TV also offers improved color depth, which results in more accurate and realistic colors. Finally, 4K TV offers a higher contrast ratio, which means that the difference between the darkest and lightest areas of the image is greater. This results in a more dynamic and realistic image.

What is HDR?

HDR, or high dynamic range, is a new standard for television that offers significantly more detail and contrast than traditional HDTVs. HDR TVs are capable of displaying a wider range of colors and brightness levels, which results in a more realistic image that is closer to what the human eye can see.

While traditional HDTVs have a maximum brightness of around 300 nits, HDR TVs can reach up to 1,000 nits or more. This increased brightness makes for a more vivid and lifelike image, with brighter colors and deeper blacks.

HDR is not just about increasing the brightness of the TV; it also expands the range of colors that can be displayed. Most HDTVs are limited to around 16 million colors, while HDR TVs can display up to 1 billion colors. This expanded color palette makes for a more realistic image that is closer to what the human eye can see.

What is UHD?

UHD stands for Ultra High Definition. It is a resolution standard for TVs and monitors that offers four times the resolution of Full HD. UHD TVs have a resolution of 3,840 x 2,160, which is why they are also sometimes referred to as 4K TVs. Many manufacturers are now releasing UHD TVs, so it is becoming the new standard in television resolution. The increased resolution offers a sharper and more detailed picture, which is especially noticeable when watching 4K content or Blu-ray movies. UHD also offers a wider color gamut, which results in more vibrant and realistic colors. HDR (High Dynamic Range) is another feature that is often found on UHD TVs. HDR allows for a greater range of contrast, which results in deeper blacks and brighter whites. HDR is especially beneficial when watching HDR content, such as HDR10 or Dolby Vision. UHD TVs are the future of television resolution, and they offer a significantly improved viewing experience compared to Full HD TVs.
